The Chair, represents the Civic Society at the Wells Tourism Forum which is made up of the major stakeholders in the visitor economy in the City.

This group has worked with the councils and been actively involved in improving the experience for couch-based tourists, supporting a volunteer Meet & Greet team, improving the environment at the bus and coach park, creating the Visit Wells brand and marketing the city, as well as moving the Tourist Information Centre to a more central location at the Town Hall in the Market Place in February 2020.
